Accountancy bursaries
Below is a list of accountancy bursary currently available in Guernsey. However, most firms will consider offering something to a keen student such as work experience or shadowing.

ACCA and/or ACA Trainee opportunities available for A Level school leavers. Candidates must hold the offer of a place on a university degree course deferred to the following year of entry. This is to allow for a period of 11 months' work at BDO before commencing university.
Bursary scheme offered based upon grades 240 UCAS points + Grade B at GCSE for Maths and English; £2,000 per annum over three years; 5 weeks' paid work experience during Easter/summer holidays; 3 year training programme (ACCA or ACA) with BDO at end of degree. In addition, BDO can also offer work experience whilst still at school and holiday work outside of University term time.

Interest free loan of £1,500 per year offered to students with 3 A Levels at grade B or above on condition that they defer their university place for one year. During their year of deferral students will be available for employment at Intertrust Guernsey.
A minimum of 5 weeks' paid work experience during university holidays. On completion of degree, students are to work for the Group for a minimum of 3 years and train for a relevant professional qualification. Repayment of the loan is due only if terms of the bursary contract are broken.
